Welcome to Spiritual Sundays

Wow, it's June already. People are busy with graduations, weddings, vacations, and lots of other stuff. I remember almost 4 years ago when Ginger and I started this blog we wondered if it would be better to start in the fall instead of July which was when we started. But, we decided not to wait and I'm glad we didn't. Although summer is a busy time, actually every season is a busy season. We are just busy people. No getting around it. That's one reason I'm so pleased that so many of you take time out of your busy schedules to share with us here. So, let's not let down just because it's summer (almost). Let's start linking.

Memorial Day Sharing

Memorial Day is here again. This is another American holiday. We do have several people from other countries who share with us on Spiritual Sundays. Sometimes I tend to forget this when talking about one of our holidays. This weekend is Memorial Day weekend. Even if your country doesn't celebrate this holiday, you probably have a day to remember those who have given their lives in service to their country.

One thing every country has in common is the one who died for every one of us. He is the reason for this blog. The crosses in the cemetery in the picture above is a reminder of this.

I'm glad you're here reading this post. I hope you will all be blessed whether by sharing a link to a post on your blog and/or by reading what others have shared.

As I state each week, if you are new to Spiritual Sundays and would like to link a post on your blog here, please read the instructions by clicking on Linking Info under the header picture. Everyone is welcome.

Welcome to Spiritual Sundays

So many special posts were shared last week for Mother's Day. Mother's Day is a happy time, but it is also a sad time for many. For some it is both happy and sad. You may have read the comment last week by Whidbey Woman, aka Coni. She has shared with us regularly for a very long time and now she is going through a very difficult time in her life and as a result is not blogging right now. Please pray for Coni and her family. In fact, I hope you will go to our Prayer Request page and pray for others on that list. I try to keep it updated. If you have a special request, please let me know and I will add it to the Prayer page.

Welcome Back Again

Last week we had 83 entries. That is the largest number in a long time. We had a lot going on around our house last week and I didn't get around to visiting everybody although I did visit most of the links. I'm writing this on Thursday evening. After I schedule this to go on in the morning I'll visit a few more links. Each time I visit a different blog, I think Wow! I'm glad I didn't miss this one. They are all so good.

Sunday is Mother's Day. I want to take this opportunity to say "Happy Mother's Day" to all the mothers. My children and my hubby always make that day very special for me. I am looking forward to it.
